Environmental Policy
Winrex is deeply committed to protect the environment, and conserve energy and natural resources in all of its business activities, from its operations to the design of its products. Winrex long-standing environmental policy ensure to:
- Develop, manufacture, and market products that are safe for intended use, protective of the environment, and that can be reused, recycled or disposed safely.
- Comply or exceed all applicable government requirements of environmental laws, rules and regulations, voluntary requirements and closely monitors its manufacturing, storage, treatment, and disposition processes to ensure that do not adversely affect the environment.
- Ensure the responsible use of energy throughout our business, including conserving energy, improving energy efficiency, and giving preference to renewable over non-renewable energy sources when feasible.
- Set and adhere stringent requirements to conserve natural resources by reusing and recycling materials, purchasing recycled materials, and using recyclable packaging and other materials.
- Be an environmentally responsible neighbor in the communities where we operate, and act promptly and responsibly on environmental concerns.
- Strive to continually improve environmental management system and performance, and participate in efforts to improve environmental protection and understanding.
- Ensure that personnel are properly trained on environmental issues and conduct audits and self-assessments, measure the progress of environmental performance, and report periodically to the Board.
Every employee and vendor on Winrex business is expected to follow this policy and to report any environmental concern to the management. Managers are expected to take prompt action.
